Iranian joy accompanied by charity

In Iran, people never forget charitable giving when they celebrate and mark their feasts.

In Iran, people never forget charitable giving when they celebrate and mark their feasts.

The latest on the list happened  Thursday when believers, tens of thousands of volunteers, and charities made thousands of free meals to be distributed among the needy people in Tehran and other Iranian provinces on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir.

Eid al-Ghadir marks the day when the Prophet of Islam [PBUH] appointed Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS) as his successor and Muslims’ next leader.

On the eve of the auspicious occasion, Iranians decorate the streets as well.

Benefactors distribute Nazri (votive) food to mark Eid al-Ghadir and other religious occasions.
